Carvell Richoux vs Franchot Galliard

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar de Nerval, Dakar,  taking place on 31/03/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carvell Richoux (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Franchot Galliard(4 - 2 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Richoux and Galliard weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Channing Seigner, and the three ringside judges are Mallory Saheli, Acelin Mollere and Gaston Angrand.  

Round 1: 

Richoux quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Galliard's ribs.  
Galliard is on target with a right hook.  
Richoux steps inside.  Galliard pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Richoux gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Richoux gets on the inside.  Richoux lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Galliard.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Richoux gets on the inside.  Galliard connects with a left uppercut.  
Richoux is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Richoux gets on the inside.  Richoux throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Galliard time to recover.  
Galliard walks Richoux down, trapping him on the ropes.  Galliard pivots to the side of his opponent.  Richoux lands a cross.
