Matthew Saomba vs Phil Mnkandla

Boxing Daily Report from the Kuenyehia Promotions promoted show at Josh Mambare Gym, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/04/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Saomba (4 - 6 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Phil Mnkandla(3 - 5 - 3) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Saomba weighed in at 130 pounds, while Mnkandla weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Mubako, and the three ringside judges are Steven Joubert, Sam Rodger and Michael Chipeta.
