Hugh Akanji vs James Egbedi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Nicholas Salihu Gym, Lagos,  taking place on 05/04/2022:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Lagos State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Lagos State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Akanji (7 - 2 - 3) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and James Egbedi(7 - 0 - 1) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Both Akanji and Egbedi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Idoko, and the three ringside judges are Azubuike Ekpo, Efe Obhafuoso and Thompson Abulu.  

Round 1: 

Akanji switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.
