Alfonso Montalvan vs Dario Merced

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo promoted show at Santo Domingo Oeste Lorenzo, Santo Domingo Oeste,  taking place on 11/04/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBC Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alfonso Montalvan (8 - 0 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic and Dario Merced(7 - 1 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Montalvan and Merced weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xeres Ceniceros, and the three ringside judges are Quito Suero, Nemesio Carrero and Luis Manzanares.
