Jordan Mower vs Mel Housler

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New York State promoted show at James Romagnoli Gym, New York City,  taking place on 17/04/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New York State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Mower (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Buffalo, USA and Mel Housler(2 - 2 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Both Mower and Housler weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Jackson, and the three ringside judges are John Purcell, Mick Cohran and Ben Hopkins.  

Round 1: 

Housler hits home with a right hook.  
Housler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mower lands a right uppercut.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mower dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Housler steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Mower switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.
