Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Comunidad Valenciana promoted show at Alicante Negro, Alicante,  taking place on 02/05/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montel Santiago (7 - 1) who hails from Valencia, Spain and Malvolio Merlos(7 - 2) from Alicante, Spain.  Santiago weighed in at 147 pounds, while Merlos weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces.
