Olympe Marceau vs Russel Berland

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Haiti-Nord-Ouest promoted show at Leggett Beaumier Gym, Port-de-Paix,  taking place on 30/04/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Haiti Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Olympe Marceau (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Delmas, Haiti and Russel Berland(5 - 4 - 3) from Port-de-Paix, Haiti.  Both Marceau and Berland weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Malot, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Bellanger, Boden Cohen and Circinus Ader.  

Round 1: 

Marceau hits home with a cross.  
Marceau lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Marceau switches the action to the outside.  Marceau feints a jab, fooling Berland into throwing a left hook counter.  Marceau springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Marceau lands a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Berland has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Berland hits home with a left hook.  
Marceau steps to the outside.  Berland feints a jab, tricking Marceau into countering with a right hook.  Berland is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.
