Gus Kamunanwire vs Joel Kusuro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Gulu Singhal, Gulu,  taking place on 02/05/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gus Kamunanwire (8 - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Joel Kusuro(9 - 2) from Lira, Uganda.  Kamunanwire weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces, while Kusuro weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Abdallah, and the three ringside judges are Quarren Adubango, Greg Kibaki and James Bourdillon.
