Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uruguay-Montevideo promoted show at Montevideo Badilla, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/05/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quico Almonte (10 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Fidel Villalpando(5 - 2) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Almonte and Villalpando weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ramirez Barquero, and the three ringside judges are Yago Montejo, Hilario Mazariegos and Kiki Rangel.
