Floyd Karugaba vs Quadrees Achieng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Gethin Byaruhanga Gym, Kampala,  taking place on 05/05/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Floyd Karugaba (7 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Quadrees Achieng(6 - 3 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Karugaba weighed in at 146 pounds And 4 ounces, while Achieng weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Kayonga, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Madani, Salim Kalemazikusoka and Shontae Batuma.
