Sam Kalanzi vs Khalid Begum

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Gethin Byaruhanga Gym, Kampala,  taking place on 05/05/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Kalanzi (11 - 1 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Khalid Begum(3 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Kalanzi weighed in at 122 pounds, while Begum weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dale Kayonga, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Madani, Salim Kalemazikusoka and Shontae Batuma.
