Ahmed Syed vs Bilal Fahmy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Aftab Fahmy Gym, Cairo,  taking place on 15/05/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Egypt Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ahmed Syed (4 - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Bilal Fahmy(5 - 4 - 1) from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt.  Both Syed and Fahmy weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rashid Abdulrahman, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Samy, Atif Elgheriany and Tariq Deeb.
