Edmundo Barbara vs Nicandro Alvarenga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro promoted show at Alfonso Matos Gym, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 15/05/2022:

Clearly AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Barbara (10 - 2) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Nicandro Alvarenga(7 - 0 - 4) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Both Barbara and Alvarenga weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Bernardo, and the three ringside judges are Saturnin Pintor, Loredo Souto and Xabat Meneses.
