Ponce Quijano vs Onofre Cato

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Antofagasta promoted show at Jose Quiles Gym, Antofagasta,  taking place on 16/05/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ponce Quijano (6 - 3) who hails from Antofagasta, Chile and Onofre Cato(7 - 2) from Antofagasta, Chile.  Quijano weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces, while Cato weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Ancheta, and the three ringside judges are Malvolio Segura, Pedro Baile and Ricardo Espino.  

Round 1: 

Cato steps inside and manouvers Quijano onto the ropes.  Cato lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
