Syed Maroun vs Amjad Nehme

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Saudi Arabia-West promoted show at Intercontinental Hotel Taif, Taif,  taking place on 16/05/2022:

Clearly AI Saudi Arabia-West have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Middle East Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KSA Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Syed Maroun (8 - 0) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Amjad Nehme(8 - 2) from Medina, Saudi Arabia.  Both Maroun and Nehme weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Bicery, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Betar, Azam Abdallah and Kamran Bal.
