Montana Basa vs Gig Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Felippe Madrazo Gym, Leon,  taking place on 09/06/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montana Basa (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Gig Diaz(7 - 3 - 2) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Basa weighed in at 147 pounds, while Diaz weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Cuesta, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Eusebio, Juan Pan and Santiago Carpio.
