Diego Vela vs Carlos Mijares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Alto Parana promoted show at Alejandro Cilia Gym, Ciudad del Este,  taking place on 29/05/2022:

Clearly AI Paraguay-Alto Parana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Vela (9 - 0) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Carlos Mijares(5 - 4 - 2) from Capiata, Paraguay.  Vela weighed in at 116 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mijares weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isidro Mandes, and the three ringside judges are Elias Coronel, Diego Munos and Alejandro Tabares.  

Round 1:
