Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Jackson Mkhize Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 05/06/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vandwon Mpontshane (6 - 0) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Ambroos Plessis(8 - 1) from Randburg, South Africa.  Mpontshane weighed in at 112 pounds, while Plessis weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Asavela Sikali, and the three ringside judges are Michael Grobbelaar, Lisimba Jali and Peter Oosthuizen.
