Pero Agnes vs Kyros Takes

Boxing Daily Report from the Dorkenoo Promotions promoted show at Zetes Siska Gym, Athens,  taking place on 19/06/2022:

Clearly Dorkenoo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Greece-Attica Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ERT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pero Agnes (6 - 1 - 3) who hails from Athens, Greece and Kyros Takes(9 - 1(1) - 1) from Peristeri, Greece.  Both Agnes and Takes weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Etor Lillis, and the three ringside judges are Phantasos Sica, Telephus Boulos and Arion Rota.  

Round 1: 

Takes closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Takes pivots to the side of his opponent.  Takes lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Takes ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Takes pushes his forearm into Agnes's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Takes lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Takes advances into close range and forces Agnes to back into the corner.  Takes lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Takes clinches his opponent.  Takes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Agnes throws a left hook, but Takes holds on to his opponent.  Agnes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Takes leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Agnes tries to tag Takes on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Agnes tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Takes sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Agnes finds the target with a jab.  
Takes gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Agnes's body.  
Takes drives a right hook into Agnes's body.  
Agnes steps away from his opponent.  Agnes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Takes gets on the inside and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Takes lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Agnes throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Agnes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Takes is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Agnes is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Takes blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Agnes pivots from in front of his opponent.  Agnes throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Takes wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Agnes.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Takes lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Takes lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Takes knows Agnes is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Takes lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING AGNES TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Agnes now seems to have got his legs back.  
Takes drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.

Takes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Agnes behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Takes lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Agnes sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Takes lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Takes clinches his opponent.  Takes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Takes digs in a left uppercut to Agnes's ribs.  
Agnes is looking to keep his distance.  Agnes goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Takes time to recover.
