Cortez Acero vs Macario Gomez

Boxing Daily Report from the Adabor Promotions promoted show at Ramirez Salido Gym, Guatemala City,  taking place on 19/06/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guatemala-Guatemala Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Acero (6 - 5 - 1) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Macario Gomez(5 - 2 - 3) from Mixco, Guatemala.  Both Acero and Gomez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Loya, and the three ringside judges are Cisco Esperanza, Alfonso Mosco and Neron Soza.  

Round 1: 

Acero steps inside.  Acero pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
