Sammy Ochuka vs Max Lai

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Soltani, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/06/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy Ochuka (10(1) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Max Lai(9 - 0) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Ochuka weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces, while Lai weighed in at 153 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Changeywo, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Haque, Rehan Abed and Billy Tumbo.
