Dave Boyle vs Charles Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at John Cary Gym, Drogheda,  taking place on 24/06/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dave Boyle (8 - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Charles Connolly(6 - 0) from Swords, Ireland.  Both Boyle and Connolly weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ross Gauld, and the three ringside judges are Roy Spalding, Dan McCorquodale and Steven Stewart.  

Round 1: 

Connolly is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Boyle lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
