Gig Galeas vs Joaquin Villafranca

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwanambulo Promotions promoted show at Eloy Marcelino Gym, Panama City,  taking place on 28/06/2022:

Clearly Mwanambulo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Panama Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gig Galeas (6 - 2 - 2) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Joaquin Villafranca(8 - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Galeas and Villafranca weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rafael Aybar, and the three ringside judges are Roman Borquez, Cipriano Romo and Juan Acero.
