Daichi Niwa vs Takeo Fukushima

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Dai Tano Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 01/07/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Niwa (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Takeo Fukushima(3 - 5 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Niwa weighed in at 244 pounds, while Fukushima weighed in at 236 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Tsuchida, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Iida, Ichiro Kaya and Kazuhiko Ide.  

Round 1: 

Niwa finds the target with a jab.
