Hemant Nath vs Jaidev Shekhda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Delhi promoted show at Chiranjeevi Zivarattinam Gym, New Delhi,  taking place on 01/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Delhi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hemant Nath (6 - 2 - 1) who hails from New Delhi, India and Jaidev Shekhda(6 - 4 - 1) from New Delhi, India.  Nath weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Shekhda weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Ghazal, and the three ringside judges are Malik Baten, Jasvinder Ramesh and Azam Shams.  

Round 1:

Shekhda manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nath lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Nath ties up his opponent.  Nath leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nath drives a right hook into Shekhda's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Nath.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
