Vicente Taveras vs Nasario Garces

Boxing Daily Report from the Njovu Promotions promoted show at Javier Marques Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 02/07/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Carabobo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Taveras (5 - 0) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Nasario Garces(7 - 4 - 1) from Valencia, Venezuela.  Both Taveras and Garces weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felippe Ledo, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Valentin, Elias Irene and Vicente Quintanar.  

Round 1: 

Taveras advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.
