Alastair macheso vs John Sibanda

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Harare Mbara, Harare,  taking place on 03/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alastair macheso (10(5) - 1 - 1) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and John Sibanda(10 - 0 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  macheso weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sibanda weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Ngoma, and the three ringside judges are Chris Tholet, Sam Rodger and Bryn Chinmano.
