Verity Simon vs Theophilus Oresanya

Boxing Daily Report from the Amissah Promotions promoted show at Hotel Akwa Palace, Douala,  taking place on 13/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Verity Simon (10 - 0) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Theophilus Oresanya(11(5) - 0) from Enugu, Nigeria.  Simon weighed in at 175 pounds, while Oresanya weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Telford Sima, and the three ringside judges are Flannery Ngoudjo, Benedict Atangana and Acelin Lombe.
