Lavaughn Shanungu vs Naeem Kabeya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Sichombo, Kitwe,  taking place on 14/07/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lavaughn Shanungu (5 - 3 - 3) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Naeem Kabeya(8 - 1(1) - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Shanungu weighed in at 115 pounds, while Kabeya weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mablevi Machila, and the three ringside judges are Tevin Chamuka, Faraji Jobe and Jasper Munda.
