Vidal Simon vs Olindo Pilar

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Macario Bail Gym, Los Alcarrizos,  taking place on 17/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vidal Simon (10 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Olindo Pilar(7 - 3 - 1) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Simon weighed in at 130 pounds, while Pilar weighed in at 129 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nemesio Carrero, and the three ringside judges are Juan Arguijo, Selestino Tijerina and Selestino Tijerina.
