Yong Key vs Lei Miao

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Fars promoted show at Ibrahim Saab Gym, Shiraz,  taking place on 15/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yong Key (5 - 0 - 1) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Lei Miao(9 - 3) from Shiraz, Iran.  Both Key and Miao weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Shahidi, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Hannan, Waqar Akhtar and Khalid Sarwar.  

Round 1: 

Miao closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Miao clinches his opponent.  Key is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Key and breaks the clinch.  
Miao is on target with a solid right hook to Key's ribcage.  
Miao steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Key is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Miao is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Miao holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Miao pushes his forearm into Key's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Miao.

Miao walks Key down, trapping him on the ropes.  Miao lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Key is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand right.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Key's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Key's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Key's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
