Franco Lasso vs Diego Hernando

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiberu Promotions promoted show at Gabriel Alejandro Gym, Elche,  taking place on 25/07/2022:

Clearly Kiberu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Lasso (4 - 4 - 1) who hails from Elche, Spain and Diego Hernando(7 - 3) from Elche, Spain.  Both Lasso and Hernando weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cris Estay, and the three ringside judges are Montel Tercero, Jose Carpio and Cris Estay.  

Round 1: 

Hernando advances into close range.  Hernando sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lasso hits home with a left uppercut.  
Lasso is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hernando gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lasso tries to keep the action at long range.  Hernando is on target with an overhand left.  
Hernando lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Hernando advances into close range.  Hernando lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Hernando wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lasso dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hernando pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hernando is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hernando has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Hernando closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Hernando is on target with a stinging cross.  
Hernando is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Hernando clinches his opponent.  Hernando pushes his forearm into Lasso's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hernando.
