Quito Borge vs Sierra Laura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Felippe Madrazo Gym, Leon,  taking place on 27/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Leon Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quito Borge (3 - 7) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Sierra Laura(7 - 3 - 1) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Borge weighed in at 111 pounds And 11 ounces, while Laura weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nasario Nolasco, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Parras, Guillermo Eusebio and Urvano Osorio.  

Round 1: 

Laura lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Borge switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Laura is on target with a stinging cross.  
Borge steps inside.  Laura drives a right hook into Borge's ribs.  
Laura steps inside.  Laura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Borge throws a left hook, but Laura clinches his opponent.  Laura tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Borge's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Laura closes the distance.  Laura is on target with a sharp left hook.  Laura wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Borge dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Laura hits home with a cross.  Laura attempts to land a jab, but Borge slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Laura's body.  
Laura gets on the inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Laura lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Laura clinches his opponent.  Laura pushes his forearm into Borge's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laura.  
Laura connects with a right hook.  Laura holds on to his opponent.  Laura leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Laura's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
