Shaquille Dotse vs Johnny Tshitoko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Eastern Cape promoted show at Port Elizabeth Mapisa, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 31/07/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shaquille Dotse (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Johnny Tshitoko(9 - 1) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Both Dotse and Tshitoko weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Themba Cele, and the three ringside judges are Danny Luteka, Rob Mthethwa and Dele Hlatshwayo.  

Round 1: 

Dotse drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Tshitoko pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tshitoko switches the action to the outside.  Dotse tries to land a jab, but Tshitoko slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tshitoko gets on the inside and hits home with a firm right hook.

Tshitoko is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Tshitoko clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tshitoko pushes his forearm into Dotse's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
