Tavarius Chatara vs Paul Madziva

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Elliot Muchinguri Gym, Harare,  taking place on 05/08/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tavarius Chatara (7 - 3) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Paul Madziva(5 - 0) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Chatara weighed in at 174 pounds And 14 ounces, while Madziva weighed in at 174 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Chipeta, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Mukoneweshuro, Quintavius Mubako and Stephen Mubako.  

Round 1: 

Madziva gets on the inside.  Madziva is on target with a right hook.  Madziva wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chatara dabs at his face checking for damage.

Madziva forces Chatara to retreat into the corner.  Madziva is on target with a solid right hook.  Madziva clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Madziva pushes his forearm into Chatara's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Madziva.  
Chatara throws a left hook, but Madziva clinches his opponent.  Madziva leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
