Waqar Rookas vs Maharram Hajiyev

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Philharmonic Winter Hall, Baku,  taking place on 22/08/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Rookas (11(3) - 1) who hails from Medina, Saudi Arabia and Maharram Hajiyev(9 - 3(1)) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Rookas and Hajiyev weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Israfil Hajiyev, and the three ringside judges are Qudrat Faradjev, Bashir Amirbeyov and Ulfet Kadyrov.
