Dylan Sterett vs Mark Masiyiwa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Elliot Muchinguri Gym, Harare,  taking place on 14/08/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dylan Sterett (9 - 1 - 3) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Mark Masiyiwa(2 - 1 - 6) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Both Sterett and Masiyiwa weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mason Mandioma, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Mubako, Steven Joubert and Dillon Mutasa.  

Round 1: 

Masiyiwa steps inside.  Sterett pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Sterett is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Masiyiwa lands an overhand right.  
Masiyiwa gets on the inside.  Sterett pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.

Sterett switches the action to the outside.  Masiyiwa connects with a cross.  
Masiyiwa throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Masiyiwa's ribs.  
Masiyiwa is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Sterett in a neutral corner.  Masiyiwa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
