Pal Frieberg vs Nels Birk

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Denmark-Region Hovedstaden promoted show at Copenhagen Christoffersen, Copenhagen,  taking place on 18/08/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Denmark Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pal Frieberg (9(6) - 2) who hails from Aalborg, Denmark and Nels Birk(7 - 1) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  Both Frieberg and Birk weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davin Baden, and the three ringside judges are Ulster Fabricius, Kolby Digman and Ulster Fabricius.

Birk feints a jab, but Frieberg ignores the feint and responds with a solid right hook.  
Frieberg advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Frieberg clinches his opponent.  Birk leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Frieberg uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Birk's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Birk.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
