Jose Yero vs Ryo Melchior

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Jax Bolivar Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/08/2022:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Yero (11(1) - 0) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Ryo Melchior(8 - 1 - 3) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Yero weighed in at 220 pounds and 12 ounces, while Melchior weighed in at 244 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Hernandez, and the three ringside judges are Zacarias Urdiales, Jesus Luy and Pedro Solis.
