Paul McAfee vs Thomas McNamara

Boxing Daily Report from the Mzima Promotions promoted show at James Telfair Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 22/08/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul McAfee (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Thomas McNamara(7 - 4) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both McAfee and McNamara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cillian Murphy, and the three ringside judges are Carl Lyons, Mike Green and Shane MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

McNamara is looking to close the distance.  McAfee digs in a left hook to McNamara's body.  
McAfee connects with a cross.  
McNamara manouvers his opponent into the corner.  McNamara tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
