Dmitriy Gatvenieks vs Viktor Melderis

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Riga Lazdinsh, Riga,  taking place on 26/08/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Latvia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dmitriy Gatvenieks (7(1) - 3) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Viktor Melderis(3 - 0) from Riga, Latvia.  Gatvenieks weighed in at 154 pounds, while Melderis weighed in at 153 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mikhail Klavinsh, and the three ringside judges are Andrii Vanags, Luka Ozolitis and Anton Zutis.
