Marko Banovic vs Mirko Jakšic

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Croatia-Primorje-Gorski promoted show at Grand Hotel Adriatic, Rijeka,  taking place on 17/09/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Croatia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Planet Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marko Banovic (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Mirko Jakšic(11 - 1) from Rijeka, Croatia.  Banovic weighed in at 140 pounds, while Jakšic weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Borko Peric, and the three ringside judges are Andrej Brdar, Dragan Vitez and Mislav Vukojevic.
