Rafael Mezo vs Onofre Vasconcellos

Boxing Daily Report from the Gabuza Promotions promoted show at Jose Ocana Gym, Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz,  taking place on 17/09/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Santa Fe Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rafael Mezo (9 - 0) who hails from Rosario, Argentina and Onofre Vasconcellos(6 - 6 - 2) from Rosario, Argentina.  Mezo weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces, while Vasconcellos weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Monsanto, and the three ringside judges are Manny Mathe, Francisco Vasconcellos and Carlos Villeda.  

Round 1: 

Mezo steps inside and digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Mezo clinches his opponent.  Mezo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mezo and breaks the clinch.
