Faraji Dulecha vs Banji Kagwe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Quadrees Magwanga Gym, Kikuyu,  taking place on 23/09/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Faraji Dulecha (5 - 1) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and Banji Kagwe(5 - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Dulecha and Kagwe weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kamande, and the three ringside judges are Amon Itote, Amon Itote and Jay Karanja.  

Round 1: 

Kagwe finds the target with a jab.  
Dulecha steps inside and walks Kagwe down, trapping him in the corner.  Dulecha attempts to land a right uppercut, but Kagwe parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kagwe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.

As Dulecha tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kagwe dabs at his face checking for damage.
