Berkant Saltik vs Koray Serif

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Izmir promoted show at Tolga Karagoz Gym, Izmir,  taking place on 24/09/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berkant Saltik (6 - 6 - 2) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Koray Serif(8 - 2 - 2) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Saltik and Serif weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iskender Tekeli, and the three ringside judges are Ediz Ahmad, Suleiman Ozbey and Devrim Agca.  

Round 1: 

Saltik goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Serif's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
