Jiro Ishibashi vs Jun Sazama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Carabetian Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 23/09/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jiro Ishibashi (6 - 2) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Jun Sazama(8(4) - 1(1) - 1) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Ishibashi and Sazama weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Shimizu, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Kawasaki, Takeo Imada and Takeshi Shimizu.  

Round 1: 

Ishibashi connects with a right uppercut.  
Sazama is on target with a jab.  
Sazama pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sazama tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ishibashi steps inside.  Sazama connects with a left hook.  
Sazama pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sazama throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sazama hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Sazama lands a right hook.  
Ishibashi gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Sazama lands two jabs followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sazama tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ishibashi hits home with a cross.  
Sazama lands a WICKED cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE ISHIBASHI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ishibashi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ishibashi steps inside.  Ishibashi leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Sazama tries to tag Ishibashi on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Sazama pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sazama dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sazama quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross to his opponents body.  
Ishibashi advances into close range.  Sazama lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ishibashi lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sazama sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Sazama tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ishibashi closes the distance.  Ishibashi lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ishibashi dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Ishibashi.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.

Sazama lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING ISHIBASHI TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Sazama!
