Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Daegu promoted show at Keun-ho Shon Gym, Daegu,  taking place on 01/10/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eun-sun Sohn (9 - 0) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Young-gwon Pyon(6 - 0) from Daegu, South Korea.  Sohn weighed in at 107 pounds And 4 ounces, while Pyon weighed in at 107 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sung-ryong Yoh, and the three ringside judges are Tae-hwi Kwok, Seung-gyu Soh and Jeong-ho Toh.  

Round 1: 

Pyon attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Sohn time to recover.  
Pyon hits home with an overhand left.  
Pyon forces Sohn to retreat into a neutral corner.  Sohn lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Pyon steps inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to Sohn's body.  
Pyon pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Sohn's body.  
Sohn is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Pyon sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Sohn's body.  
Sohn is on target with a right hook.  
Sohn is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pyon lands with a stiff jab.  
Sohn advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Pyon attempts to land a left hook, but Sohn slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sohn wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
