Naftali Afful vs Eric Kune

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 02/10/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Naftali Afful (7 - 0 - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Eric Kune(9 - 0) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Afful and Kune weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Karabaja, and the three ringside judges are Amon Makwetla, David Khumalo and Mark Van Jaarsveld.
