Justin Kagwa vs Kyle Busoga

Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Zain Kakazai Gym, Kampala,  taking place on 02/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Kagwa (8 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Kyle Busoga(10 - 0) from Kampala, Uganda.  Kagwa weighed in at 159 pounds And 8 ounces, while Busoga weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Rugasira, and the three ringside judges are Polo Bourdillon, John Wabwiremangen and Ian Magunda.  

Round 1: 

Kagwa attempts to land a jab, but Busoga sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Kagwa's body.  
Busoga gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Busoga advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Busoga has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
