Isaac Baines vs Sam De la Torre

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Mexico promoted show at Euan Barland Gym, Albuquerque,  taking place on 02/10/2022:

Clearly AI USA-New Mexico have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isaac Baines (8 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Austin, USA and Sam De la Torre(9(1) - 1) from Albuquerque, USA.  Both Baines and De la Torre weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Maddix, and the three ringside judges are Kris Lorimer, Josh Waddell and Rob Guerrero.  

Round 1: 

De la Torre advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  De la Torre clinches his opponent.  De la Torre leans on his opponent using all his weight. De la Torre pushes his forearm into Baines's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures De la Torre about fouling.
